Software Engineer -Bangalore

Software Engineers will design, develop, test, integrate and support software for a modern Navy sonar development program that provides high data rate scalable recorder technology interfacing with sonar, radar and navigation systems.

* RESPONSIBILITIES:

a) Design, develop and maintain computer system software in accordance with approved software design documents for inclusion into Adaptive Methods* commercial and military products.

b) Perform other duties as assigned by program managers, or senior officers and directors.

c) Perform preliminary program design and analysis to facilitate the conversion of programming requirements into computer language routines.

d) Assist in the definition of the applications program and verify system specifications have been met. Prepare block diagrams and flow charts depicting how the system software will function within the constraints of the hardware.

* QUALIFICATIONS:

a) Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and a minimum of 3 years progressive and responsible software engineering experience .

b) Modern software engineering and Java, C/C++ coding experience.

* SKILLS:

a) Knowledge of automated information processing system design .

b) Experience with open architecture hardware and software computing environments.

c) Experience with processing segment interfaces and systems software integration.
